“I wanted to write a success story because shortly after attending the brilliant workshop in May of last year, I met a very special man who is everything that I had written about before, during and after the workshop. I don’t think that it’s just down to coincidence that my boyfriend and I met within two months of attending the workshop and have been happily together ever since. We’ll probably come along together to another workshop in 2013 and look forward to seeing you both then.”
Esther Hicks is an American inspirational speaker and best-selling author. She has co-authored nine books with her husband Jerry Hicks, presents workshops on the Law of Attraction and appeared in the first release of the film The Secret. The Hickses' books, including the best-selling series The Law of Attraction, are — according to Esther Hicks — Channelled from a group of non-physical entities ca ...more
But, after seeing The Secret in 2006, I started digging deeper in how to practice creating my reality with my mind. I started attending the School of Metaphysics, which is an excellent course of study in the powers of mind. Armed with some level of knowledge of the LoA, and what I’d learned and practiced at the School, I decided to facilitate a Law of Attraction book study group - where we studied and practiced exercises around Wallace Wattles’ Science of Getting Rich, and Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. I developed a manifestation practice where my Mexico dream was top. I imagined myself retired - relieved from the stress of selling real estate… in an area of Mexico that reportedly has the world’s second best climate… where I’d visited only briefly 10 years previous, but knew from that brief encounter that that little village was where I wanted to live in Mexico when I retired.
Some people begin to see things happen immediately, while others take a little more time. The key here is patience and persistence. As soon as doubt or fear start to creep back in, return to Step 2 and address it. If you have lost touch with your clear intention, revert to Step 1. If your belief in the Law of Attraction lags, go back to Step 3. If all else fails, repeat Step 4 every day until it becomes a reality!
We focus on illnesses, low-paying jobs, and less than fulfilling relationships out of habit. Breaking the routine, just like any other bad habit, will take some effort, especially if it is natural to dwell on the negatives for years. Parents often teach this type of behavior by being the role model of criticism or negative language. When this is so, they are likely mirroring behavior they learned from their parents, and so on, back through the generations.

Keep in mind the disclaimer on the copyright page that reads, "The authors of this book do not dispense medical advice or prescribe the use of any technique as a form of treatment for physical, emotional, or medical problems without the advice of a physician, either directly or indirectly." It's important, considering a segment of this book is about physical health. It's interesting to me, because if we had regulation around careers and money, there would also be disclaimers about those. Through ...more
I gained a good friend in sixth or seventh grade, and we hung out nearly every day. However, in the beginning of eight grade, she moved away to Michigan. She had given me her number, but I lost it! In my freshman year of high school one day, I just thought to myself, “I wonder how my friend is doing? I really want to talk to her.” I didn’t really think much of it though. It was just a passing thought. Later within the year, my mom came up to me and handed me a number. I asked her who’s number it was, and she told me that my friend’s mother had contacted my school to in order to hunt me down. She called and gave my mom her number so I could call my friend! O_O At the time, I wasn’t even thinking about LOA, but now as I look back, I realized it was! (I was just introduced to “The Secret” in eight grade too).
I have a funny story to share though and it’s not about my experience, it’s about my Mom’s. She got a letter in the mail late last year from a lawyer asking her information because her best friend of over 50 year’s husband had passed away and he was leaving her some money. Never in a million years would she had ever expected that. He was a tight wad, as we like to call them here in Texas. They didn’t have any children and she had passed away about five years earlier. Anyway he’s always given money to the college where he went and everyone just assumed that’s where it would go. Let me also clarify that the man was filthy rich!
Each "failed" relationship has given you clues about what you want in your ideal partner. The problem is, many women and men focus on the negative instead of the positive. For example, by saying that you don't want a man who "puts his work before the relationship," you are focusing on a man who puts work before love and that is the desire you are unconsciously sending out through your energy.
You need to be clear about what you truly want in a relationship, there are lots of questions to be asked here, and the crucial thing is that you be honest with yourself. Is it a life-long relationship? Is it a traditional “get married”, raise a family relationship? Is it a committed relationship living apart? You must decide what you truly want; sending the universe mixed messages via your thoughts will only lead to people who want different types of relationships coming into your life.
While it might sound strange at first, you’ll be better at using the Law of Attraction for money and wealth if you connect with the smell of money. When you do this, you align your own vibration with wealth and abundance. As you do this, imagine yourself as having all the wealth you need. Don’t think about why you want money, or how you wish you had more money. Let your brain believe you are fully abundant, right now.
Emotional Charge: Emotionalize that goal (why do you want it, how will it change your life, in what ways will it bring you happiness, etc.). The idea is to increase and amplify the desire for it from a place of the heart. This powerfully imprints the vibration of your goal into your subconscious mind as you take inspired action towards what you want to achieve.
If you approach money like a power source of its own, then by trying to manifest it, you’re really trying to overpower it, and in such a contest you’ll usually lose. That contest, however, is completely internal — and pretty much insane. It’s like trying to arm wrestle yourself. How can you win? It’s a false reality you’re projecting because you aren’t ready to fully wield your own power yet.
Physical compatibility in a relationship need not always mean love. There are many versions of love, and romance and lust are two basic ones. True love includes commitment, trust, respect and contentment. If these things lack in a relationship, it is definitely not love. A lot of people justify physical violence with passion. Passion in a relationship is definitely a natural phenomenon, but there’s a thin line between being passionate and violent. If you find your partner being too harsh on you, both physically and emotionally, then it’s not love.
I have been loving this girl, like crazy and madly since the past 18 months. However, she doesnt feel anything for me yet. I even expressed my feelings for her. She denied and asked to be friends. But since i was committed to her, i continued to behave the same. However, she took my commitment for desperation. Worst part is, i realised lately that she is seeing my best friend, who knew everything about my feelings for this girl. She doesnt even realise that this guy is playing around with her. Now, i feel betrayed and as though my friend has taken advantage of the situation. Now, she hardly talks to me. Things are getting worse day by day. And she is supposed to be leaving for some other country for higher education soon, after which i wont be able to meet her often. Please please please tell me how do i win her. She is the most beautiful soul i’ve ever met. 🙂
True love is all about being caring about each others needs and desires. Love is affectionate, virtuous, passionate and sweet. But, no matter how you define love, if your relationship lacks support and care, it’s not love. Love is about being with each other during all phases of life – good or bad. Caring is the first and most common trait of being in “Love”.

Since the Law of Attraction teaches that like attracts like, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that attracting love requires you to be a loving person! And it’s not only the romantic sense of love that matters here. There are little things that you can do to spread love every single day—one of the best examples is simply being nicer to strangers.
