Hi Onique – You need to look over your thoughts, beliefs, emotions from the past to see why you created it in the past. You need to look at your current thoughts, beliefs and emotions to see why you are creating it now. There’s probably at least one thought/belief that has been repeated for 10 years and is still there. Changing your thoughts/beliefs allows your life to change.

Just in case I haven’t made my point clearly enough, the attraction process is all about how we feel, so it is really good to get into the feelings that lie behind our desires, as much as we can. Think about what sort of feelings you want in your relationship. Are you after a sense of ease in interacting with this person, without any drama? Do you want someone who shares your same passions and interests? Then, visualize yourself in these encounters.
“I was recently recalling being in France years ago when the friends I was staying with wanted to go to a casino. We picked up another friend-of-a-friend and I was told “He always wins”. Within 5 minutes of being in the Casino, the lights and the bells went off and the noise of an avalanche of coins- this guy had won the jackpot on the machine. He walked away and went on to win again on that visit… I was outside of a cafe in London and I suddenly said to my friend ‘I’m going in that Casino and I’m winning’. Thank you for that piece of advice-should I remain in a constant state of “as if” with no attentiin on what is? Or should I focus in what I want, relax, and accept what is? Normally I focus in meditation on my intentions, relax, and allow my manifestations to occur—but, normally I am also not as Concerned about what I want to manifest. Should I be doing it differently?
Soon enough a city based pageant was announced ,I decided to participate ,though friends and family tried to stop me from further disappointment…I knew it in my guts that this time I will win,because until then I knew about law of attraction and i knew universe was arranging things for me.i was so sure that I prepared my thank u speech before hand and needless to say…I WON
No matter what we attract, it is always there to help us, so you want to think about this scenario and what feelings came up around it, and that can clue you in to how it is useful for your journey of attracting a relationship. As for your friend, I am not sure what topic of conversation was involved as far as you feeling like you can’t be yourself around her, but as some general advice, anytime we feel like we can’t be ourselves in a certain situation or around a certain person, it is a problem plain and simple that must be examined. Ultimately, it comes down to determining whether your reluctance to be yourself is more based in your own fears, and your friend would more than likely accept you, or if your friend is someone who is very judgmental or wouldn’t be able to accept you for who are because of strong beliefs she holds about certain things.
