I know this can sound like a tall order. We are so conditioned to basing how we feel on outside events. It is easy to feel good when something happens that gives us a reason to—cultivating warm, fuzzies in the absence (or what we perceive to be the absence) of something to be happy about can take a bit of work. Feeling good even if things happen that you don’t like can take some practice. Living reactively will really put a damper on the attraction process, and it is a habit that needs to be addressed.
Thank you for that piece of advice-should I remain in a constant state of “as if” with no attentiin on what is? Or should I focus in what I want, relax, and accept what is? Normally I focus in meditation on my intentions, relax, and allow my manifestations to occur—but, normally I am also not as Concerned about what I want to manifest. Should I be doing it differently?
Hi, this article sounds true though i cant understand how does this work or manifest others actions. But very recently i was blown away with an experience. I was constantly thinking about someone with great emotions poured in. And one day i saw some posts in his profile all he was talking about is some word ” CHELSEA”.. I dont know what does that mean so i googled.its a football team of england… After 2 days , out of the blue the word chelsea popped up in my phone from my sisters message,just right after i recalled that person. Neither me nor my sister know what is that word before. And that person i think about lives in england…. And on the same day, the team chelsea played the match october 19,2013 in FIFA and won against some team for that day… I was very disturbed,scared and brought me to this sight… But im still confused

One way to attract positive thoughts, experiences and situations in your life is to create a manifestation scrapbook. Fill the pages with affirmations and clippings of pictures that depict the things that you wish to materialize in life. Spend about a week creating the various pages in the book and review the book on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on personal goals. People do not need to know about your manifestation book in order for interesting and surprising positive events to come into your life.
In stopping all other thoughts you also stop resistance. Resistance is the negative emotion you feel when you think about what you want, but in a way that feels bad. It is when you give more attention to what you don’t have, and feel bad, rather than giving attention to what you want, in a way that feels good to you. In both cases you are thinking about what you wish to manifest, however one is focused in a way that allows it manifest, and the other is focused on the lack of what you want, and that keeps it from coming.

To add, he has been saying he has “something in the works” and I asked what he meant and he said it was a surprise but that is has to do with he and I and our love and that he knows it’s going to make me extremely happy. He never does anything for me, or buys me things so I’m having a hard time trying to imagine what this could be. I’m deep down hoping that maybe he could be talking about proposing to me. He said I should expect this “surprise” in one to two weeks. Is it possible for me to use the Law of Attraction to make this actually be a proposal?

Imagine that you’re there, but in the ideal world – you know everything that is in that park, every bench, every path, every tree, but you also know that everything else is just as you want it to be, although you don’t see it. You’re just there, in the park that you know, and the world is a great place. Stay in the park for as long as you need to fully embrace the feeling that the world outside of it is made by your desire.
He says that you have to believe that you are going to achieve what you want, and visualize that you have it and will get it. Most noteworthy, before Arnold became famous for being a film star, he mentioned in an interview that he would be “the number one box office star in all of Hollywood” one day. This just shows the belief Arnold had and how he used the Law of Attraction to attract this into his life.
You stop all other thoughts. When you meditate and you give your attention to that singular thing you stop all other thoughts. In the simple, deliberate act of focusing on one sound, you give pause to all the other stuff in your head. (You may lose focus at times and begin to have thoughts about this and that, and that’s OK. When this happens just gently shift your attention back to the sound).
By choosing to stay in an endless cycle of negativity and by dwelling on what isn’t, rather than what could be, how is the universe expected to be clear on what you are looking for? Focusing on the bad luck that you may have had in past relationships or dwelling on your inadequacies can only serve to further increase these misfortunes and hold you back from the love that you so truly deserve.

I felt the same way when I first heard about LOA but then I looked at my life and could clearly see how it had negatively affected my life automatically (I thought I was broke, I acted like I was broke, and I was broke). So I figured I had nothing to lose! 4 years later it’s TOTALLY transformed my life and I’ve manifested 2 vision boards and a brand new life. IT WORKS!
Here’s the thing: you can only attract that to which you are a match, and if you are hiding who you really are, or are trying to construct some ‘perfect’ version of yourself you believe makes you more attractive as a potential mate, you will only attract other people who are putting up these same facades. You will never make any true connections—you’re being inauthentic and everyone you meet is being inauthentic, and eventually it will all come to the surface in some way. One of the reasons people struggle to meet the right person is because everyone is just walking around, faking it.
One of the coolest things that has happened, is that I needed some money. So I decided to use the law of attraction consciously this time around. I was really excited about it, and the money kept coming in, so I thought the law of attraction was working. But then I got a bill, and I was really confused why that happened. So I thought about making a new list, and take a look at the old list that I had made a couple of months earlier.
But Matt and I became quick friends through the Mastermind group and every six months or so we’d connect by email or at an event. As Matt later explained, “We always wanted to work together on some project, but there was just never a good fit.” After all, he was busy traveling the world and I was engrossed in building my Turbulence Training business.
We can easily manifest money into our lives, or anything else for that matter, by expecting it to come to pass. Wishing and hoping doesn’t work. The Law of Attraction is founded on an expectation of a specific outcome. It revolves around the potential positive or negative energy that a given thought takes in your mind. When you expect the worst to happen, it often happens. When you expect the opposite, that often occurs as well.
Think about the qualities you seek in the person you want to attract. These qualities are very personal and vary from individual to individual. Remember, there are no limits to what you can want.  Be specific about what is important to you; think about what you want in detail.  A great way to get some clarity is to make a list of the qualities you find attractive and the values that you admire in other people. Making a list or journaling our expectations is a powerful tool when applying the law of attraction to any facet of your life.
This freaks people out because they believe feeling happier now as a single person will cancel their 'order' with the Universe for a relationship. But don't worry... it doesn't work like that. Wanting and needing something to happen is not what brings it to you... trust me. Feeling the feelings that lie behind what you want now, and detaching from the idea this thing needs to happen for you to be happy, is what does -- much more quickly and easily.

Step 4 is important for two reasons. The first is that it aligns you with your desires. The entire concept behind the Law of Attraction is that like attracts like. When you take action as if you’ve already gotten what you desire, you are sending a huge, loud and clear message to the universe that you’re serious. Actions speak louder than words, right?
Banish guilt and feelings of self-doubt from your life and your internal world forever. No negotiation. I did it, and it worked like a dream. You have no more right or need to feel any more guilty than a butterfly. And like a butterfly, you are free to fly and celebrate your uniqueness today. You are ready for a life of awesome results and celebration. But are you ready to give yourself permission to do this yet?
As for manifestations that involve another person, you probably don’t want to put too much focus on that because we can’t create in another person’s reality. No matter what we do with our energy, it can’t ‘translate’ to someone else and make them do anything. Now, this isn’t to say that you can’t ever get back together with this person, as that may possibly be the best representation of the energy and feelings that you are trying to attract into your life–remember that no matter what we want, we are always after a feeling. What also happens sometimes is when we make changes in our own energy, we line up with different ‘versions’ of people, even if they have fundamentally stayed the same, and this can make it easier to get along with them,etc…
Hi Shona, If you want to successfully use the Law of Attraction for love for a specific person, you need to overcome your fear. Your thoughts and emotions create, so if you continue to be afraid, you will create the things that you fear – his cheating, his not wanting to commit, etc. Sometimes the easiest way to overcome fear is to think about the worst thing that would happen if things didn’t go the way you want them. Often, that worst fear isn’t all that bad, and it’s easy to then let the fear go. Other times, it might be necessary to use tapping or EFT to get rid of the fear.
You can try for Thanksgiving, but be careful with using specific dates. Many people get so focused on the date that they allow fears and doubt to creep up. As the date gets closer, they start wondering why it hasn’t happened yet and worry that it isn’t working. They end up not manifesting it not working when if they had stayed the course, they may have been someone the very next day.

You are certainly on the right track with what you are doing, and you are certainly lining yourself up for an amazing relationship. That is where a lot of people struggle with LOA in general, and relationships in particular–it can be really hard to feel okay with how things are now when we want them to be different. Feeling okay with being single and feeling that fulfillment with life in the absence of that other person can be a challenge, but it is necessary to let in a GOOD relationship.
With all of this differentiation comes a wide-ranging approach to one common theme that binds us all: money. Money, in fact, is simply a story. It’s the most successful story that humanity has ever created. Beyond the invention of language, which enabled communication, money has enabled commerce, and has moved us beyond merely bartering for, and exchanging goods and services as we once solely did ages ago.

Hi Geoff! Thank you for your reply. I do understand the chapter is about getting an ex back. However, what I meant to ask is whether the same rule applies if the person you want to manifest a relationship with is someone you haven’t previously dated. You see I talk to him everyday and he often tends to talk about the girl he is with or unknowingly tells me how I mean a lot to him but only as a friend. And every time that happens I just can’t stop negative thoughts of fear and doubt cropping up in my mind, thus making it difficult for me to let go. So I want to know if I should maintain some distance, perhaps talk less often. The only issue here is that there isn’t really any problem between us. He knows I love him and we kind of sorted it out a couple of months back and have continued to be best friends. I don’t quite have a reason to suddenly cut down on talking to him and I am sure if I do that he would want to know why.
I recently released some resistance about finding the right guy. And I had this weird experience yesterday. I felt like maybe I could meet somebody yesterday when I went out with my friend. And I actually forgot about the fact that I thought about it. And I ran into somebody at a book store and he actually told me something that I didn’t expect and I didn’t know what to say so I couldn’t respond properly. I actually was with my friend who had strong opinion against something and I was afraid if she might not like me acting certain way. Anyway, so I actually wanted to talk to the guy more but for some reason, I couldn’t. But I discovered some limiting beliefs. I realized that I need to be myself even though I worry what my friend thinks about me. And if she doesn’t support me, maybe she’s not good for me even though I really care about her as a friend. The reason that I couldn’t be myself yesterday was because I cared so much about what my friend would think about me.
It could also mean that a particular area of your life might need your attention, such as your career, finances, health, raising children, or that simply, your time is just not ripe for love yet. Whatever the timing might be, what I know for sure is that the time you invest in getting ready for your soulmate is an opportunity to continue to work on yourself, and remove all of the mental and emotional blocks that are keeping you from love. It is the perfect time to get to know yourself fully and deeply and get ready for love.

Be okay with him not contacting you, but be open to receiving a message from him. See it as happening. Forget about the world around you and create the reality you want. Allow the world to transform to match your thoughts. Those are key elements for using the Law of Attraction for love for a specific person.
