Hi there. I have tried but haven’t had any real success. Is there a way you coach people on this? Also I am just not able to find the right person in my life. i liked somebody but he never was able to like me. He is not dating anyone at the moment. But however he is closed to the idea of love somehow and settling down. Its not me here. It is his resistance to romantic involvement. We don’t really see each other and he has kept distance because he doesn’t want to be in love or marry at all. I am 29 and he is 36. Can you please suggest a way.
Hi Elizabeth, Ive just read the book – ive always visualised and practised gratitude and its worked well for me. However when it comes to love, not so much. I read the section on vibrational matches. I don’t have any rituals per se, but there are certain things I do that help me feel more abundant. When I am enjoying something I paid for, whether a tasty meal, a massage or something else that gives me pleasure in some way, I really try to tune into the feeling of appreciation I have for it, and the sense of contentment I feel in that moment. I also try to develop a sense of appreciation for having money to pay bills..rather than feel like I am putting my money towards something I don’t want to put it towards, I express appreciation that I have the money to pay the bill. Awhile back, I went through really bad times financially, and the inability to pay my bills created a lot of shame and embarrassment,and I am happy not to be experiencing that anymore.
This is the time to pamper yourself, to prove how valuable you are and to take the time to do something special for yourself. Maybe you have always wanted to stay at a beachfront hotel, get a massage or a pedicure, learn a new language, rent a particular movie, or have a gourmet dinner served in your home. No matter how big or small, the time to fulfill your desires is now.

Our current state of affairs, whether it is in the realm of love, money, or any other aspect of our life, is always serving us in some way. We are getting some benefit from how things are now, no matter how absurd that seems to your conscious mind. But, here’s the thing..the part of you calling the shots is your subconscious mind, and there are all sorts of crazy thoughts, and limiting beliefs, floating around there that sabotage you in countless ways.
I have a funny story to share though and it’s not about my experience, it’s about my Mom’s. She got a letter in the mail late last year from a lawyer asking her information because her best friend of over 50 year’s husband had passed away and he was leaving her some money. Never in a million years would she had ever expected that. He was a tight wad, as we like to call them here in Texas. They didn’t have any children and she had passed away about five years earlier. Anyway he’s always given money to the college where he went and everyone just assumed that’s where it would go. Let me also clarify that the man was filthy rich!
It is not uncommon for those who have been enlightened by the Law Of Attraction to have accumulated great sums of wealth unknowingly. This is because being ‘wealthy’ should not be something which is focused on cash alone. It is possible to achieve great ‘wealth’ in many areas of a person’s life. After all, money is simply pieces of paper. And all of the paper in the world is not going to guarantee a person life-long happiness.

This was an example of guided meditation (you created a script before you started meditating). You can do it the way we described, or you can read more about how guided meditation works on this website that specializes in creating guided meditation recordings and then apply your own rules – but for many people this is by far the most effective way to change their reality.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I am so glad you liked the post. I think a lot of people have that fear, so you are certainly not alone in that. One of the things that has helped me most with that is remembering how ‘challenging’ the human experience is, and knowing we all have our ‘stuff’ that we hold inside, bad things that have happened to us, etc.. For the most part, I think lots of people actually want to talk about these things and not feel like they are the only one struggling. Intellectually we know that isn’t true, but how we feel is often very different. When we think about it this way, sharing our own ‘stuff’ feels less scary. And, as you work on your attraction, you will naturally begin to meet up with people who you do feel comfortable with, and will not pull away when things get closer.
Then something strange happened. Someone at work who I thought was a really good person confided in me about a problem he had – and he had done exactly what my partner had done and was suffering because of it. It was uncanny how similar it was to my situation, but here I was hearing the ‘other side’. At first it was difficult because I had my own judgement, but as I listened to him, I started to understand what my partner was going through – something I had never thought of before. For all this time I had seen him as a really horrible person out to get me, but I felt myself soften as I heard my colleague’s story. I started to see it from his point of view, which was so similar to my ex partner’s. Like a miracle, new insights and this relaxed sense of forgiveness washed over me. This was the answer I had asked for. I can honestly say I have let go of this situation that had been taking over my life and I feel great. This Universe List process is powerful!”
You have no idea the million different ways you can meet someone. Sure, it may be through the typical avenues, like a mutual friend or a blind date. Or, it could happen in the most unexpected, and craziest of ways—the type of situation that makes a great ‘how we met’ story. So, do your best to stop trying to figure out how you would meet this person. Don’t look at the current framework of your life as some sort of filter through which you sift possibilities.

Thank you so much for such long reply! The more I’m working on myself with LOA, somehow the more my feelings are changing. Deep down, I know there will be more chances for me out there and therefore, I will meet the love of my life but my brain tells me that I shouldn’t have done that. Feels like my heart and my brain are in different places. Sometimes it’s quite the challenge. But I learned that I need to care for myself first and foremost!

Attracting a good relationship doesn't mean that the relationship is going to be perfect or even permanent. Remember that you will attract someone who matches who you are in a given moment. If you or your partner change, the relationship may no longer be compatible. Sometimes we're meant to learn something from a relationship, and then move on when we're done.
In the past I had a relationship, it was messy and unorganized. All I would do is worry Id lose her. That was my biggest fear. And I thought about it almost everyday. And one day I did. It was hard, but I learned from my mistake. I lost her so I could find someone better. Someone who fits perfectly to my soul. Someone who I feel so at home and comfortable with. And instead of worrying about me losing her, im celebrating with joy, and im excited to grow in life with her and get old.
Hello, I am hoping you can help me with this…. I’ve read that being excited to manifest your old love, or just a new relationship in general is okay. I feel so excited when the Universe shows me my signs of my desire. I’ve recently realized that whenever I see those signs, it makes me anxious to receive. Is there anything I can do to keep myself from feeling anxious to receive when I see these signs?

The first thing I would say about your situation is to carefully examine whether you are just trying to ignore negative feelings and think ‘happy thoughts’ or you are actually thinking and focusing in a way that makes you FEEL better. The feeling is where we attract, not in casting aside negative thoughts, only to have that energy remain and grow.

While planning can help you to expect your outcome, if you can’t actually see it coming to pass in your mind, there’s no way it’s going to occur. If you can consider that everything in your life, whether or not you want it or not, was once a figment of your imagination, you’ll realize that you hold the power to turn your dreams into reality. This is real and its exact and it’s specifically how some of the most famous people in the world achieved success.
I stumbled on your page a couple weeks ago. I’ve been coping with post partum depression for the past few months. Although medication has absolutely helped take the edge off, ever since reading your words I’ve felt a consistent and steady rise in my feelings of happiness. The medication helped stabilize my depression, that’s true, but your words helped me tap into my joy. Joy I haven’t felt in years, possibly since I was a child myself.

No matter what comes up, don't shut any of it down because it seems silly, irrational or whatever... if it is coming up, it's relevant and a very real feeling and belief that must be addressed. Pay attention to any memories that float in your mind...even if they have nothing to do with romantic relationships, there is a similar thread energetically, and will help you uncover beliefs and feelings that are blocking you.

I know this isn’t easy. I know how hard it is. It’s why, when working with the Law of Attraction, it’s often best to say, “I want X or something better” or “I want a relationship with my boyfriend or someone better.” Because what if you could have someone better? What if you could be with someone who didn’t want to spend a day without you, let alone not be able to meet you every few days?
