Above all, find ways to be happier now, no matter what is going on. Make your happiness and well-being a priority. The higher you are "vibing" the more things you will attract into your experience that mirror back all these great feelings. Be patient and compassionate with yourself. You can want the relationship, but release on the desperate sense of "need" around it.
Hi JG – I’m glad you’re enjoying my book on attracting a specific person! Detachment will come with time. Don’t worry so much about whether you’re doing things right. The Law of Attraction isn’t about perfection. Also, as I discuss in the book, focus on doing things that make you happy. It’ll be far more effective than trying to cover the doubts up with affirmations.
Meditation can trigger heightened Alpha and Theta activity in the brain; states of mind often associated with creativity. Some forms of meditation also promote synchronization of the left and right hemispheres of the brain, another factor that has been identified in electroencephalograph (EEG) readings during moments of inspiration and during participation in creative activities. In a study conducted with 362 students in Taiwan to determine the effects of meditation on creativity, attention, IQ, and anxiety, the greatest improvement was observed in creativity.

Realize you will likely have smaller manifestations first that show you are lining up more with what you want, like noticing more people you find attractive, when before, you saw no one, meeting people that have desirable qualities that you note as being important in a partner, or seeing more people "like you" in happy relationships, whether they are overweight, divorced or whatever personal characteristic that you think makes finding love harder.
When it comes to what draws people to give this whole law of attraction thing a whirl, I would have to say finding a relationship is right up there near the top, along with getting more of that sweet, sweet cash. And people seem to really struggle in the love department. But manifesting a relationship is not any different than manifesting anything else, in theory.

I like the simple format.Easy to understand if you are somewhat familiar with the work. The part of the book called 'The Promise' is more of his etheric and more spiritual personal experiences and views... not very traditional and profoundly 'out there!' for sure, but I do really appreciate this one.

Me and my boyfriend are in love since 6 years. I went abroad to study. His parents marry him to a girl because of he difference in religion. After 2 months he married he contact me. Hi Elizabeth, Ive just read the book – ive always visualised and practised gratitude and its worked well for me. However when it comes to love, not so much. I read the section on vibrational matches. When i think of him i feel fearful & anxious. I know this means im blocking him but its the way i feel. Ive been in love with him for nearly 2 years, but alas he now has someone else.


Step Three: Stand in the center of your space and close your eyes with your hand out, palms facing each other as if holding a ball of light. Visualize the light growing in between your hands. Fill this ball of light with your intention. One way to do this is to recite your affirmation into the ball of light and feel your affirmation growing in power and intensity.

The way you feel is what does the attracting. Your feelings are placing your order to the universe’s catalog of worldly possessions. If you set the intention to have more money, but are feeling lack, you’re putting an order in to feel more lack. Therefore your intention to get more money won't be fulfilled. Dear Elisabeth…I am in relationship with my boyfriend almost 8 years..We were very in love. But during these years he did to me something I couldn´t forgive him for many years..I were very much angry with him all these years..but I was also still in love. I have been applying the visualization techniques of the Law Of Attraction for a couple of years. I have been able to manifest those things I truly believed to the core of my being. And although I still think sometimes maybe this has all been an accident, I have seen the wonder and absolute amazement of the Universe and how it has led me to all the things I have truly, deeply wanted. I look back and see how the matrix of the Universe moved me to what I wanted without me even knowing it. It was like intuition that I didn’t realize was happening, if that makes sense.

“I made a list of the qualities I wanted in a partner- integrity, someone I find very attractive, commitment, focus, ambition, kindness. Then I realised they were qualities I wanted to embody more in myself, too. So I meditated on this following doing a Universe List prayer- in which I asked the Universe to ‘reveal these qualities in myself’ and ‘inspire me to more fully embody them’. Firstly, what happened is I received compliments from friends of how I reminded them of certain well-known people- and how younger and healthier I was looking. Whenever you start feeling bad about your financial situation, see that as a form of feedback. Let it become an immediate trigger to refocus on your desires. Say to yourself, “Okay, obviously I don’t want this. So what do I want instead?” Then think about happier alternatives; allow your mind to go there, and let the resulting new vibe flow through you.
Gradually she got better at the game. We went out yesterday and played again. In an hour of walking around some hotels on the Vegas Strip, she found 46 cents: 1 quarter, 3 nickels, and 6 pennies. In that same time, I found only 6 cents. She won the game for the first time and was pretty excited about it. And of course I gave her lots of accolades for it, so as to encourage her to keep improving.
I know this can sound like a tall order. We are so conditioned to basing how we feel on outside events. It is easy to feel good when something happens that gives us a reason to—cultivating warm, fuzzies in the absence (or what we perceive to be the absence) of something to be happy about can take a bit of work. Feeling good even if things happen that you don’t like can take some practice. Living reactively will really put a damper on the attraction process, and it is a habit that needs to be addressed.
So who is your Soulmate?  What does he or she look like? What are their qualities? What is it that makes them unique and attractive to you? For many of us, this journey towards our Soulmate begins by first experiencing what we do not want. Funny how life works, isn’t it? If you have been, or currently find yourself, in a relationship where you find that things are not flowing, it feels like it’s too much work, you argue and fight a lot, you don’t feel like you are compatible or complement each other, the passion is long gone, you constantly feel anxious about the relationship and you’re struggling to be happy, instead of feeling stronger, supported and inspired you feel weakened, or the person is in another relationship and not available to you, chances are that you’re not with your soulmate.

What The Secret didn’t share is that activating the Law of Attraction requires more than inherent desire, an active imagination, and creating a vision board. Positive affirmations don’t work as a standalone. Meaning, a person who is broke isn’t going to manifest his or her rent by sitting around thinking positive thoughts alone. A person who is struggling with a health challenge may not overcome that challenge through positive thoughts by itself.

I am so grateful I manifested this site/your book. I just read Manifesting Love and beginning first thing tomorrow I am going to intensely start the process of visualizing this guy into my life. The problem is he is a friend and although he talks to me and is friendly he has yet to make a move. I recently found out that he (31) may be dating a 23 year old girl who still lives at home with her parents. I know this girl and I would never want to get in the way of another’s relationship but I have such strong feelings for him. I just want him to start liking me. I also suffer from anxiety and depression which makes the negative feelings even more abundant. Do you have any tips for me? I really want to get this guy in the next 6 weeks. I appreciate any help I can get.
Step 4 is important for two reasons. The first is that it aligns you with your desires. The entire concept behind the Law of Attraction is that like attracts like. When you take action as if you’ve already gotten what you desire, you are sending a huge, loud and clear message to the universe that you’re serious. Actions speak louder than words, right?
If I attempt to manifest money, do I have to do something to get it? I’ve been studying LoA for a few years now and have read countless books on the matter. To me, Napoleon Hill’s book was by far the best because it wasn’t just full of platitudes, it actually gave me some actionable items and did tell me that a certain amount of work was involved. This was important to me because I have a core belief (right or wrong) that you can’t get something for nothing. With that said, even with all the research I have done, and the belief that LoA exists, I have yet to experience any positive outcomes from using any of the techniques. Doing yet more research, I have come to the conclusion that there are two things that I am doing wrong, or more concisely, unable to achieve. The first being that I can not seem to attach a feeling to a desire. Try as I may, there remains some disconnect somewhere. Second, I have a lot of negative self talk and some negative core beliefs (both of which I am working to change… more research). I believe that these two things sabotage any attempt by me to manifest things. As I am practicing LoA, the little voice in my head (my Ego) will tell me that I am being foolish, or that “this doesn’t work”, etc. I tell it to shut up but it never does and introduces doubt every time. This actually brings up a third problem. Unwavering faith. You mentioned faith to get you back on track. Where do you find this? How do you develop it? Do you have any suggestions on any of these issues? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Again, we can only attract that to which we are currently a match, so this means we can’t wait to feel better about our lives until what we want comes. You have to make peace with your single status. You have to start finding ways to feel happy about your life now as it is. This doesn’t mean pretending to like things you don’t, but diligently working on adopting a perspective that actually makes you feel better. It is about focusing on the things in your life that are good, and building on that energy. It is about making time to do things that make you feel good, that help produce the feelings you think you would get from being in a relationship.

2. Focus on the positive. Let go of all your negative thoughts….such as “it's hard to find anyone,” “why don't they see how good I am,” and “no one will ever love me.” You have a lot of great qualities that make you so worthy of anyone's love and attention. Others do notice you and appreciate you. There is love all around you. Let it in. When you let it in and focus on the positive, you change your vibration and open a door for the Law of Attraction for love to bring you your specific person.
