If you’re problem is habit you might want to check out Charles Duhigg’s latest book called The Power of Habit. In it he describes how we can hack into our habit forming system. It’s called the Habit Loop. I’m reading it now and I’m totally hooked. I have successfully implemented many habits and so far still sticking to them! Give it a go, I’m sure it can help with your writing.
Sure, you want money to pay your bills, take a vacation and do all this other stuff, but ultimately, you want it because having it will give you certain desirable feelings. You want to feel the peace that comes with financial security; you want to feel the excitement, fulfillment and all the other awesome feelings you would experience with doing the things that the money would allow you to do.
Our relationship with money is quite the interesting one, and attracting it is like attracting anything else in our lives, but we have so much ‘stuff’ around it that it seems more difficult. I am always open to more, but as time has gone on and I have seen life from both a place of financial struggle and one where things were much more abundant, it became clear to me that the happiness level really isn’t affected as much. Less stress, sure..but that is not the same as feeling truly happy. That is a great perspective you had on your money situation and is likely a key factor in your success. It is easy to get a bit panicked and impatient with the online bit when that money isn’t coming as fast as we would like it to, or in the amounts we would hope. That is an amazing story about your mom, and like you said, never would have seen that as a source of money if you had to guess. I am so glad you shared that story because the more people read about these types of incidents, the more faith they build that this can happen for them too!
Things happen to me all of the time similar such as I will be thinking about a person who I need to text and catch up with and will receive a text a day later. Its amazing. The since of how everything is energy on this planet and thoughts create vibrations is really neat stuff, I think this is a great foundational thing for young people to try and understand and focus on.
Hi Elizabeth, Ive just read the book – ive always visualised and practised gratitude and its worked well for me. However when it comes to love, not so much. I read the section on vibrational matches. When i think of him i feel fearful & anxious. I know this means im blocking him but its the way i feel. Ive been in love with him for nearly 2 years, but alas he now has someone else.
Your English could easily pass for an English speaker. I also love writing and started to blog, but realized I didn’t have a theme that would produce thoughts to the world. It’s fine, as being on the computer is already quite time consuming. Or in the lingua of the above topic, I guess it’s not my all consuming wish :) In any case, I felt as you did – that all that attraction stuff does lead to hard work, and even then, no guarantees. I don’t care for any system that has built into it a “failure” clause, because you didn’t do this or that. Being positive, having dreams, working hard,all good stuff, but again, life isn’t ours always to control.
True love is all about being caring about each others needs and desires. Love is affectionate, virtuous, passionate and sweet. But, no matter how you define love, if your relationship lacks support and care, it’s not love. Love is about being with each other during all phases of life – good or bad. Caring is the first and most common trait of being in “Love”.
How does the law of attraction work if the person you love has moved to a different state? From the beginning he stated he wanted to only be friends because he was not ready for a long term relationship but we did all the things that people do in relationships and agreed to be monogamous. He has left for another state to take care of issues with family/children and says he doesn’t know when he’ll return. We don’t talk/text as before. I really developed strong feelings for him as we spent a lot of time together and I felt they were reciprocated to a point. Not sure what to do at this point. He has all the qualities I want in a friend/husband. I would love for us to be back together but as more than only friends. Please help
I look at the picture of my desire and send him love and happiness, in addition I imagine a pink spiral all around him and me. I have done this for two days and I feel liberated I feel like everything I was worrying about has disappeared I feel a different person seriously. It is like I have let it go whilst still feeling the energy inyhands and feet. Am not sure if this is right or not if Elizabeth could clarify, but I feel great.
A wish box is an interesting approach. I had done something similar years ago. I created a box, colored it pink and then put in it all the words and a picture of a person I wanted to meet. I put the box away and didn’t think about it much. About six months or so later, I met a guy that looked so similar to the one I wanted to meet, it was scary! A bell definitely went off.
See I never said that you just think about getting a CEO’s job and sit relaxed at home, apply LOA and it will come to you (it’s really impossible). The thing is, that you have to think and act in a certain way, with full of positivity and firm belief that this is going to happen soon. And the best thing is that it doesn’t ask for your money… All it needs is your positive thinking and strong belief. I don’t think there is any harm in doing it rather than criticising it.
Once you’ve made your decision, a big part of understanding how to manifest love with a specific person lies in getting a clear sense of what it is about this person that makes you believe that looking for love with them will truly make you happy. As such, part of making a manifestation commitment involves beginning to analyze yourself in a new, deeper way.
