It may sound silly to do this as an adult, but it’s a game worth playing. When you’re out with friends sometime, have a contest to see who can manifest the most money. You may not get too excited about finding coins, but you may generate some excitement about trying to best your friends in a silly contest. That silliness will actually help you get the right vibe, thereby improving your ability to manifest money.


Thanks for this article ! its really encouraging, I have been reading about the LOA and the secret and all that for nearly two years now, I manifested my boyfriend, although we’ve broken up now, i still believe that we might be together one day again, or ill meet someone even better! either way, i am working to try and be happier, and not lose belief in the things i want to have! I sometimes give up because i just go about my day and forget to think positive etc, and be grateful for things, but im really working on it now and hopefully it will work! I was led back to ‘The Secret’ from an interview I read. Having read it before it made more sense this time about how to really believe and be grateful. I received a surprise check the following day which helped me to begin a project and have seen another financial boost since. The law of attraction and the positive feelings you convey ‘attract’ opportunities and help make smarter decisions. I finally believe and am making it a habit. I have always been ambitious so I excited at what I may manifest.
I come up from my basement and see my tent on the landing on top of the stairs. “I should set you up in the backyard and camp out. Oh. I don’t even have a sleeping bag.” Two days later a women’s sleeping bag comes up in my Amazon Vine queue, and two days later I have a sleeping bag. (As a Vine reviewer. That week I sold everything we owned on Craigslist and filed for divorce. I took the money I made from our belongings to pay for first and last month’s rent on a really tiny, super-shitty two-bedroom apartment. I had just enough left over for one more month of rent and a few groceries. That was all the money I had in the world: I didn’t even have a bank account. My sister convinced me to get on food stamps, just until I got on my feet, and though I cried when the case worker took my story, I knew I had no choice. I applied for every job I could find, but interviews were few and far between. When the second month came and my rent money was gone, I sold my wedding rings on Craigslist for a fraction of their value; enough for one more month’s rent. When the women came to pick up my rings, she looked around our little apartment at my twins running around in their diapers and said, “I don’t want to know. Please don’t tell me the story.” She didn’t want my “bad luck” giving her new wedding rings negative juju.

3. Love without fear of getting hurt. The scariest thing about love is opening yourself up to it. When you open yourself, there's a chance you might get hurt. If you're afraid of getting hurt, you might unconsciously be preventing someone from getting as close to you as you want. Be willing to take the risk and fully open yourself to love. You will manifest the love you want.
I have some questions about letting go of resistance. Looking back, I could finally let go of resistance by going on lots of dates and making myself exhausted, get sick and tired of trying to find the right guy. And after that moment, I could finally surrender and manifest guys that I actually wanted to be with. So maybe it could be one of the ways that people can let go of resistance? Is this the hard way?

Does this mindset of want and lacking sound familiar to you? I had a choice – to do the easy option, hide from my fear of the unknown and stay in the situation where I would be avoiding what I really wanted, or make a change and take a risk to achieve what I wanted! I sat down and mapped out exactly what I wanted. I looked at a map of the world and looked at where made my heart happy at the thought of living there. Turns out it was Australia! The other side of the world. The rest of my list included: close friends, a fabulous apartment in the city, a good job, money, excitement and adventure, city life, warmth, sunshine, travel and a wonderful boyfriend.

If you know yourself and are honest with yourself and appreciate yourself as much as you appreciate others and the universe you don’t need to be en guarde for ego violations all the time and point them out. :) People who DO have unhealthy ego problems wont hear you and those who have poor self esteem will put themselves down more. (wonder where they got that low self esteem to start….seems to be a lot of people around with it.)


P.s. My Boyfriend did not help me with this. I project managed the whole thing myself, with invaluable help of a carpenter friend. I knew nothing about building industry and all the workers said it can’t be done in 60 days and said how from their years of experience it would take 6 months if i was lucky. We argued and argued until we all saw it MY way and then we got on with it :)

i have been trying to use law of attraction for some time now, specially when it comes to love because there is one specific person that i am in love. but somehow i am doing something wrong because things don’t manifest the way want… i don’t know what i’m doing wrong. i don’t know if it’s my energy that is negative, if it’s me that is not believing enough, if it’s the way i vizualise things… i even made a visualization board, i write and think about the things that i feel grateful for, every night i imagine myself with that person and that person feeling the same way for me as i do for him but it doesn’t seem to be working… this law of attraction process is very hard, how do i know what i’m doing wrong?
“My friend had found the love of her life not by meeting someone new- but from someone who was already in her life. Thirdly, when you stop resistant thoughts, your vibration rises to a higher level. This is the whole point of meditation, I believe. To be still, therefore stop resistance and allow your vibration to rise. We are all energy and that energy vibrates at different frequencies, depending on how we feel. So, meditation allows you to vibrate at a high frequency. There are also other reason to meditate. You will feel better, you experience a sense of calm, you are happier. Most importantly, however, when your vibration rises, you open yourself up to receive guidance, in the form of inspired thought.

I find it very interesting it gives me something to motivate myself because I never heard of the laws of attraction this is the first time I’m hearing about it it has me very intrigued and I’m going to do this and whatever has to Universal on the stick to it I’m going to meditate in the morning and I meditate at night before I go to bed and I’m a focus on exactly that thank you so much I really appreciate it even if I have to come back to this website over and over again to get a better understanding I will do that thank you very much again I really appreciate it yours truly James B Banks
I just order your book and looking forward to reattracting my ex and having him commit to me and us get married. I am feeling nervous and have tried everything else and I know what I am vibrating right now is the reason we aren’t together and he keeps getting with other people, so I am committing myself to learn this material and FINALLY working on myself so that I can reattract him and get the love and relationship that I have always wanted with him.
I was seeing this really great guy for a couple of months. Things were fantastic between us, but he just got out of a 4 year relationship a few months ago and apparently it was a messy end- she basically picked her career over him and moved to a different state. We decided that the best thing to do right now is for us to just be friends because he said that if he is going to be with me he wants to be there 100% and not have her pop up in his mind all the time. I totally understand this, and really did sense it… is it possible that I manifested this? When I first found this out about his ex it was always in the back of my mind… like he’s just not over her. I kept thinking that. Is it possible that I made this happen myself with my negative thoughts about it? And if so, can I use the LOA to turn it around, help him get over her faster and come back to me? Thank you in advance for your help.
So what does that tell you? Well, when I asked myself the same question years ago before I started doing this work, what I realized was that in order for me to attract and manifest my Soulmate, I must somehow develop and grow myself into the kind of person that I myself want to be with.   In other words, if you haven’t found the right person it’s probably because you are not being the right person! As Marianne Williamson says, “We must become the person we want to attract.”
Imagine that scene where your ideal world and this world overlap – that park for example. Imagine that you’re there, but in the ideal world – you know everything that is in that park, every bench, every path, every tree, but you also know that everything else is just as you want it to be, although you don’t see it. You’re just there, in the park that you know, and the world is a great place. Stay in the park for as long as you need to fully embrace the feeling that the world outside of it is made by your desire.

Throw emotion and energy into everything you do. Even negative emotions can be transmuted into positive. Did you ever see someone red in the face with anger suddenly see the humor in a situation and burst into laughter? It can be one of the most beautiful things to witness. Do everything you do with emotion and the universe will love you for it. The law of attraction brings a tidal wave of energy that flows through emotion.
Right from Day 1 when I saw secret for the first time, I had a belief that Law of Attraction works. While doing my research on LOA I came across Awesome AJ and connected with him on Facebook and then on WhatsApp. I use to discuss with him the power of positive words and how to rephrase our sentences with positive words. We use to discuss a lot of real-life situations and one of the discussion was around Team India’s campaign line for 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. Star Sports came up with ‘We Won’t Give It Back’ campaign and we discussed the impact of billion people saying Give It Back and we all know what happened in the world cup we gave it back to Australia from whom we have taken it 2011.
As for manifestations that involve another person, you probably don’t want to put too much focus on that because we can’t create in another person’s reality. No matter what we do with our energy, it can’t ‘translate’ to someone else and make them do anything. Now, this isn’t to say that you can’t ever get back together with this person, as that may possibly be the best representation of the energy and feelings that you are trying to attract into your life–remember that no matter what we want, we are always after a feeling. What also happens sometimes is when we make changes in our own energy, we line up with different ‘versions’ of people, even if they have fundamentally stayed the same, and this can make it easier to get along with them,etc…
Many of us have had the experience where we keep on attracting the same kind of a person into our lives, and not in a good way! It happens because of the powerful law of attraction, but you don't have to keep on repeating the same mistake. What you need to do is to find a way to bless the past relationships, and to get yourself into a better feeling place regarding past loves, otherwise, you will keep on attracting the same type of a person. Hi JG – I’m glad you’re enjoying my book on attracting a specific person! Detachment will come with time. Don’t worry so much about whether you’re doing things right. The Law of Attraction isn’t about perfection. Also, as I discuss in the book, focus on doing things that make you happy. It’ll be far more effective than trying to cover the doubts up with affirmations.

Just in case I haven’t made my point clearly enough, the attraction process is all about how we feel, so it is really good to get into the feelings that lie behind our desires, as much as we can. Think about what sort of feelings you want in your relationship. Are you after a sense of ease in interacting with this person, without any drama? Do you want someone who shares your same passions and interests? Then, visualize yourself in these encounters.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I am so glad you liked the post. I think a lot of people have that fear, so you are certainly not alone in that. One of the things that has helped me most with that is remembering how ‘challenging’ the human experience is, and knowing we all have our ‘stuff’ that we hold inside, bad things that have happened to us, etc.. For the most part, I think lots of people actually want to talk about these things and not feel like they are the only one struggling. Intellectually we know that isn’t true, but how we feel is often very different. When we think about it this way, sharing our own ‘stuff’ feels less scary. And, as you work on your attraction, you will naturally begin to meet up with people who you do feel comfortable with, and will not pull away when things get closer.
As with all Law of Attraction work, trying to manifest love requires you look at the underlying assumption that holds you back. In this case, limiting beliefs that might block you from finding love. Try to write them down first. Then identify where they came from. Most importantly, write down a contradictory belief that you can then turn into a daily affirmation.
