When you do find yourself meeting with someone, don’t pin all your hopes on this person being the ‘one.’ You really don’t even know him yet, and you have no idea if this person is really compatible with you, or is the type of person you would want to be with over the long-term. Sure, you can be excited, and look forward to it, but release any expectation around how things will play out. Work on getting yourself into a state of ‘surrender’ where you just accept what happens as it happens, knowing all the while, what you want is coming, even if you have no idea how that looks right now.
Don’t force yourself to do things that don’t feel good to you, if you really don’t want to do them. So, if you hate going to bars, don’t go every weekend. You want to act from a place of lightness and inspiration when you do act. You don’t want to act from a place of force or fear. There is never anything we must do to attract a certain thing into our life. If taking certain actions makes you feel good in the sense it nurtures a feeling that you will get find this relationship, then go for it. Just don’t get attached to the online dating, the blind dates, and the various outings that will put you in contact with the types of people you hope to meet. Have fun with it.
I have been researching and experimenting with the LoA for several years now, I started by reading the Cosmic Ordering books by Barbel Mohr, then the Louise Hay Book (You Can Heal Your Life) and then moved onto the LoA more specifically. Through clarifying what I want, focusing everything on this and being determined, I achieved what I could only explain as small miracles! I was miserable, living in a small town where I had no money, no job opportunities, a degree in something that I have no passion for, and a relationship that was heading nowhere.
When you feel moved to take action from a place of passion and excitement, not stress, then go ahead and let those actions flow through you. It will seem to be more work to stop yourself — you’ll feel like you’re chickening out and holding back if you stay still. Follow your impulses. But don’t worry about the immediate results of those actions. There may be some twists and turns along the way.
Creating a vision board is easy. Go through magazines or search the internet to find images that represent what you want to attract. It doesn’t matter if the images are metaphorical or literal. The important thing is that the images speak to you and connect with your desires. Attach the images to a board and place it in a prominent place where you will look at it every day.
1) Continue to send out a Soul Call and hold your intention to welcome your Soulmate into your heart.  Connect with your Soulmate at the inner level by visualizing and feeling him/her as if he or she is already in your life.  You can do this by buying them a card, or setting a place for them at your dinner table.  You can also buy a soulmate ring, as a symbol of you holding a special place in your heart for your One.  You may also want to listen to my ‘Soul Call’ guided meditation, especially when you’re feeling disconnected or negative about your love life.
“One simple and fun way in which I trust the Universe is using random play on my iPod- and I’m not joking. I find that the Universe’s choice of music (or spoken inspirational recordings) is always far more apt than my choice. And so since hearing about Esther and Jerry Hick’s (the Teachings of Abraham) relationship beginnings, and how they were clearly brought together (and when they compared histories, they realised they were in so many states and cities at the same time- showing that the Universe was constantly attempting to bring them together without their effort), I decided to apply this same idea of trusting the Universe for my relationship. And so I did processes. Within days of absolutely giving up on trying (which meant giving up on whenever I went out with friends immediately scanning the room for potential partners, thinking about my soul mate many times during the day and other forms of searching, despite telling myself and all my friends I was perfectly happy being single and letting it all unfold naturally!), I walked into a cafe I had been in so many times and immediately, naturally found myself within a conversation with one of the staff I had seen but never spoken to. We talked, exchanged telephone numbers… and who knows?! And who cares. Because for the first time I won’t be checking my phone every 5 minutes- I honestly don’t care if he calls or not- the fact is, I now understand that my ‘figuring it out’ way doesn’t work – the Universe knows better than I do. This is the first time I’ve exchanged numbers with anyone significant in about 6 months. And all from a couple of days of truly surrendering! And before the day was over, I was surprisingly contacted by someone I used to really like and then met another very eligible man.”
You’re also competing with other people’s intentions – both good and bad. So, be aware that if your desire is in direct conflict with someone else’s stronger desire, the universe will respond accordingly. The Law of Attraction does not give you full and total control of your life, it simply states that like will attract like. You can use this to your advantage by being intentional with your desires, but this isn’t magic.
As with all Law of Attraction work, trying to manifest love requires you look at the underlying assumption that holds you back. In this case, limiting beliefs that might block you from finding love. Try to write them down first. Then identify where they came from. Most importantly, write down a contradictory belief that you can then turn into a daily affirmation. Here is an article to get you started with three tips for creating powerful affirmations.
