When you do find yourself meeting with someone, don’t pin all your hopes on this person being the ‘one.’ You really don’t even know him yet, and you have no idea if this person is really compatible with you, or is the type of person you would want to be with over the long-term. Sure, you can be excited, and look forward to it, but release any expectation around how things will play out. Work on getting yourself into a state of ‘surrender’ where you just accept what happens as it happens, knowing all the while, what you want is coming, even if you have no idea how that looks right now.

In July 2015 I started doing 28 Magical Practices under the guidance of Awesome AJ but couldn’t complete it. I again started 28 Magical Practices in February 2016 and this time I was able to complete it but I was not fully committed to it. During the same time, I was going through a very tough time personally and professionally. Slowly negative thoughts started taking control of my mind and as a result, everything happened to me that I never wanted or feared for. During that time I lost a very important person in my life, I felt like a vacuum in my life and went into a shell and stopped interacting with friends or family members. I was only talking to myself and nothing of that talk was positive. I had a huge financial setback people whom I trusted and supported left me in a huge financial debt.

There is a trick to The Law of Attraction and it's not as magical as one might imagine: we attract the things that we focus on. When we focus on not having enough, that thought form supports the "lack of" we routinely experience. We are forever reminded to use affirmations and to keep our thoughts positive, but "feeling sorry for myself" continues to be the mantra of many people. Furthermore, we can be bombarded with repetitive negative phrases in our thinking, such as:
Sorry for the late reply and thank for your answer 🙂 Actually what I was mostly aiming at was of course manifesting signs of my loved one before Christmas but having the goal of spending the holidays with him. I haven’t seen him in so long, he is quite far away and I have no idea how that will manifest itself but I am leaving it up to the universe to make it happen because Christmas used to have a very special meaning to us. Also during our book club and going over your book “how to manifest a specific person” one of the readers wanted to know if it was alright for her to chant (she is an assiduous buddhist) her buddhist mantra while using LOA. She wanted to know if it was compatible eventhough it is the same philosophy, she was afraid that perhaps practising two different methods might delay her manifestations in any way…I do not know if this is something you can help her with! Loving our little book club which is growing too!!!!
Similarly, if you’re expecting to have more money arrive into your life, you have to plan for that occasion. Go tour open houses in your dream neighborhood. Go test drive your dream car. Start planning that dream vacation online that you’ve always been wanting to take. Plan it. When you plan it, it becomes more real and slowly manifests into your life.
If you’re practicing these techniques with something simple, it’s time to take action and expect your results. If you’re using the system to find great parking, get in your car and drive to that parking spot with the full intention and expectation of finding it clear for you. Announce it out loud. “That parking spot is clear for me. I am parking in the spot that is open for me.” Again, we are fully aware that this seems really silly, but it’s a critical step.
Long before the well known Oprah-appraised movie/book The Secret came out… a book by Napoleon Hill titled Think and Grow Rich uncovered the mystical and coveted concept of the Law of Attraction. I remember reading this book when I was a teenager as it proclaimed I could quite literally create the life of my dreams. This concept was very sexy to me and profoundly shaped my ideas about what was possible as I was launched into adulthood.
Above all, find ways to be happier now, no matter what is going on. Make your happiness and well-being a priority. The higher you are "vibing" the more things you will attract into your experience that mirror back all these great feelings. Be patient and compassionate with yourself. You can want the relationship, but release on the desperate sense of "need" around it.
Then in October of 2010 Matt and I joined Yanik – and special guest, Tim Ferriss – on one of Yanik’s crazy Maverick Business Adventure trips. It was a testosterone-laden weekend of driving and shooting in the Arizona desert with members of a real-life A-Team. Imagine for a moment that it’s a beautiful winter morning and there’s fresh, pristine snow on the ground. You walk up to a hill with your sled, and slide down and take your first trip down to the bottom of the hill. This first time, your course was pretty random, right? Then, you walk back up to the top of the hill once more and you sled down again. Okay, the odds are that you’re going to hit at least some of the grooves you created the first time that you went down.
Hi JG – I’m glad you’re enjoying my book on attracting a specific person! Detachment will come with time. Don’t worry so much about whether you’re doing things right. The Law of Attraction isn’t about perfection. Also, as I discuss in the book, focus on doing things that make you happy. It’ll be far more effective than trying to cover the doubts up with affirmations.
Whenever you start feeling bad about your financial situation, see that as a form of feedback. Let it become an immediate trigger to refocus on your desires. Say to yourself, “Okay, obviously I don’t want this. So what do I want instead?” Then think about happier alternatives; allow your mind to go there, and let the resulting new vibe flow through you.
We live in a magical universe that can bring you exactly what you desire in the most amazing and even unbelievable ways. Getting caught up in the how can actually impede the law of attraction. If you are trying to control the how, you are likely getting in the way and making it more difficult than it has to be. Instead, let go of any ideas about how it has to happen and allow the universe to do its magic.
When you understand the answers to these types of questions about manifesting your soulmate, your mind and heart begin to focus on trying to find love that is based on true mutual understanding and excitement. You can do all kinds of creative techniques to bolster the designing of your life partner. For example, Law of Attraction experts recommend daily visualization exercises in which you conjure up a vivid sense of what your life partner would be like. Meanwhile, you can also create a dream board that represents all the traits you’re looking for and your image of how this relationship will improve your life.
