I’d been with this man half my life, since we were sixteen years old. We had an eight-year marriage and shared three beautiful children, including twin girls just over a year old. We’d been through it all: buying our first home, then losing it in foreclosure; being overjoyed when I got pregnant with our second child, then devastated when I lost it six months into my pregnancy. I thought we’d seen everything, but this I never saw coming. 


Focus on understanding your part in this overall process, rather than feeling guilty or ashamed. Recognizing how your fears have manifested in your life does not mean that the bad things in your life are your fault. It simply means that the Law of Attraction has responded to the signal you sent out. Just acknowledge that the system works and your new awareness will guide you. No need to shame yourself or even feel responsible.
If you are bemoaning your single status, and feeling like you are incomplete without a relationship, you are vibing "lack" and you will just get more of it. This doesn't mean giving up on the idea of having a relationship, it simply means, that if you want to manifest a relationship in order to feel whole and complete, you must find a way to feel whole and complete now.
Some people begin to see things happen immediately, while others take a little more time. The key here is patience and persistence. As soon as doubt or fear start to creep back in, return to Step 2 and address it. If you have lost touch with your clear intention, revert to Step 1. If your belief in the Law of Attraction lags, go back to Step 3. If all else fails, repeat Step 4 every day until it becomes a reality!
So, what changes can you make in your life right now that would make you feel better about your financial situation? Is your lack of a savings account gnawing at you? What could you do to start padding it a bit more? Are you using your credit cards a bit too liberally, when you should really be using cash? Do you have any expenses now that you can eliminate or reduce? Is it high time for a budget? Could you start cooking at home more rather than eating out five nights a week? 
5. See the positive. Focus on the good things about the specific person you want the Law of Attraction to bring you. Look for something to appreciate. This can be tough if there are negative feelings between the two of you, and you might only be able to find one thing in the beginning, but if you keep working at it, it will get easier. If you’re in a relationship with the person already, you should start to see his/her behavior change and things start improving between the two of you.

Just wanted to make a comment about all of this. It really will work for everyone but it has to be something that is in your gut you know you will get with no doubts. I have received everything I want or don’t want because I new it in my gut. it was all unintentional before any of this kind of talk of the law of attraction came about. I think back on my life and all my intentions have manifested just the way I imagined they would. I only wished I had focused on all positive and threw out the negative. So the things you don’t want you have to change the way you feel about it and the way you think about it. I am looking into hypnosis to remove the things that are negative. Install the things I want into my subconscious. This is idea I have heard about and understand how it can help people who have a problem understanding and changing their thought process. You have to really, really want it and believe you will have it and feel good about and feel good about life and appreciate all that you have. Get excited!!!! I know this can sound like a tall order. We are so conditioned to basing how we feel on outside events. It is easy to feel good when something happens that gives us a reason to—cultivating warm, fuzzies in the absence (or what we perceive to be the absence) of something to be happy about can take a bit of work. Feeling good even if things happen that you don’t like can take some practice. Living reactively will really put a damper on the attraction process, and it is a habit that needs to be addressed.

Last year, my relationship ended suddenly. In hindsight, I had fears about abandonment and deservability, and I now see that these were limiting beliefs that colored my reality. Over the past year, I have worked on healing myself from the inside out and am incredibly proud of how I have grown. There has been no drama, just a quiet respect that if he felt that he needed space to grow and evolve, I loved him enough to let him go. While contact has been minimal, I still wake up each day with a smile and a heart filled with love and promise. He is with me even though we are apart; and I have hope beyond my current reality that our paths will cross again, and comfort and peace in that certainty.
2) Open to the mystery of life. You have no idea when or where that special person could walk into your life.  He or she could be someone you already know or met in the past.  They could be someone you’ll be meeting on your next business trip or vacation.  They could also be your next date’s brother or sister!  Your next Facebook friend or Twitter follower.  They could be someone you’ll be meeting at a coffee shop or at the train station while you wait for the next train.  The key here is to surrender all pre-conceived ideas and drop all your expectations of how, and with whom it is to happen and continue to focus on ‘what’ you want by being fully available and present in each and every moment. I really need your help.. The thing is I like one guy very much. Since the first time I saw him, I felt the connection I have never felt with someone else before.. This time I am sure he is the One. I see myself marrying him one day… even when I feel bad, I still have that picture in my head of me saying “I do” to him… He has all the qualities that I wanted in a guy.. He even is born on the same day as me.. Since I saw him looking at me, I felt he liked me… however, I’m a type of person who doubts a lot. like really a lot… Long story short, on December last year I added him on facebook and he messaged me immediately. It really showed that he was interested in me. An we had so much in common that I couldn’t even believe this can be true… so we were chatting on and off. we both are shy… and i remember that I would message him of desperation sometimes.. I messaged him in February.. we had a nice conversation, but for some reason I started doubting and crying… I was broke… then I found (again) the LOA, your articles were very inspiring..I was feeling quite good and would sometimes get on a level that I didn’t need him to make me happy. Then a miracle happened, after a month of our conversation, he asked me out. It was an amazing date. He was so happy then.. he even blushed a few times.. then, after a week he asked me out again. and again it was a wonderful time that we shared.. and after the date he said this: “there will be infinity of dates like this”, and the look in his eyes and.. and his smile said even more – he was very very happy when with me. He was glowing. However… i for some reason shied away and didn’t even message him after a date.. the next day I saw him and he was very said when I said hello to him. I could see the sadness in his eyes… then I felt guilty… i started doubting… and things got worse… I tried to fix the situation after more than a month… I asked him out myself. but he couldn’t go.. and then it was a breakdown for me… it was an awful period… I was very negative.. and i saw hi groupmate being with him at university all the time… it took me a couple of months to feel better… at the end of June I was feeling good. I was relaxed… And then I got a message from him. It was the nicest compliment I had ever received..I will not go into details, but I was on and off with my emotions… I thought that in September (because we study at the same university, except for he is a year older than me) things will be very good.. but they are not… we only say hello to each other… and most of the time ignore each other like we don’t exist… his groupmate is still being flirty with him and I don’t know what to do. It’s his last year in university.. I don’t have much time and this puts even more stress on me.. One of my friends keeps telling me that if he cared he would have done something by now… it hurts, because… because I had a chance to have him in my life but because of my fears and doubts I messed it all up.. Another friend says that I have to do something.. that I have to message him… but I don’t feel good now.. I’m not inspired and I don’t know if I ever will.. I simply love this person with my whole heart, and he is amazing… and I’m scared to lose him.. Any advice how I could calm down and go in the direction of my desire? because I feel like i’m going the opposite way. Maybe someone is in a similiar situation as me?
Deal-breaker items could include: if the person has some form of alcohol or substance addiction or abuse, if they are married or in another relationship, if they are physically or verbally abusive, and even if they smoke.  For some people, smoking is not a big deal, but for me, I just can’t stand kissing someone after they’ve had a smoke, so I decided to include it in my deal-breaker list.  What are your deal- breakers? All you need is three.
For example, these negative beliefs are like big holes in your container. Take a container and fill it with water. Water will not stay in the container if it has holes in it. The negative beliefs are like those holes in your container of prosperity. The more holes the less you can have. Unfortunately for many people, their container has nothing to hold at the bottom, forget about the holes.

Sure, you want money to pay your bills, take a vacation and do all this other stuff, but ultimately, you want it because having it will give you certain desirable feelings. You want to feel the peace that comes with financial security; you want to feel the excitement, fulfillment and all the other awesome feelings you would experience with doing the things that the money would allow you to do.  


3) The Third List: Your Gifts. The third list is, in my opinion, the most important one. Your soul mate will not be coming into your life to rescue you, make you happy, or save your life.  A soul mate is a friend and partner with whom you’ll be sharing your life.  Someone who will love, nurture and support you while you love, nurture and support them.  Someone who understands the power and beauty of a true soulmate union and will hold the space for love, even when you can’t.

I’ve been studying LoA for a few years now and have read countless books on the matter. To me, Napoleon Hill’s book was by far the best because it wasn’t just full of platitudes, it actually gave me some actionable items and did tell me that a certain amount of work was involved. This was important to me because I have a core belief (right or wrong) that you can’t get something for nothing. With that said, even with all the research I have done, and the belief that LoA exists, I have yet to experience any positive outcomes from using any of the techniques. Doing yet more research, I have come to the conclusion that there are two things that I am doing wrong, or more concisely, unable to achieve. The first being that I can not seem to attach a feeling to a desire. Try as I may, there remains some disconnect somewhere. Second, I have a lot of negative self talk and some negative core beliefs (both of which I am working to change… more research). I believe that these two things sabotage any attempt by me to manifest things. As I am practicing LoA, the little voice in my head (my Ego) will tell me that I am being foolish, or that “this doesn’t work”, etc. I tell it to shut up but it never does and introduces doubt every time. This actually brings up a third problem. Unwavering faith. You mentioned faith to get you back on track. Where do you find this? How do you develop it? Do you have any suggestions on any of these issues? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

After meditating daily, for 2–4 weeks, and you are operating on a higher frequency you will notice that a thought or ideas suddenly come to you, during or after meditation. You will realize this is not just a random thought. It will feel different, like an impulse, you will have a desire to take action on it. It can be anything, even something completely random, like going to the grocery store to pick something up, or to call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while. Whatever the inspired idea is, follow through with it because what it is is a stepping stone. It brings what you want to manifest a step closer to you. Things manifest in stages, not all at once. It may seem like something just comes to you out of the blue, but it doesn’t. It’s one thing that leads to another that will lead to another thing and that inevitably brings what you want to you. Don’t try to make it happen, just chill out, get out of your own way, and allow it to happen. The Universe will take care of the details, you just have to be ready.

I bought this a year ago after a break up and all I can say is that IT WORKS! The hardest part is letting go and letting the universe work. Any sadness, anger, etc. will hold you back. I mean that in every aspect of your life. I tried it last year on an ex and he came back but then I didn't want him back. I have an ex that I am working on and so far things are starting to manifest however I still have a bit of sadness in me so it is holding me back and I haven't fully let go yet and we were in a REALLY bad place. Hi Elizabeth, Ive just read the book – ive always visualised and practised gratitude and its worked well for me. However when it comes to love, not so much. I read the section on vibrational matches. If you are really struggling with relationships, there is something happening deep inside that is creating the outcomes you keep experiencing.
