“I love the synchronicities of life: I went into the Disney Store to exchange an unwanted gift. When I looked down at the receipt it had Cast Member: (and then my name). I loved this little touch of writing ‘Cast member’ instead of cashier- and how funny that the cashier had the same name as me! On my exchange receipt- it had the name of an ex-partner of mine- which is a very unusual name. It was the first time I had thought of him for a long time. The next day, after four years, he contacted me. He was in London and wanted to meet up.”
The awesome LOA blogger Melody Fletcher termed the manifestations that show up to indicate we are on the right path as ‘breadcrumbs.’ The thing is though, many of us misinterpret them as ‘bad’ things that show us we still don’t have what we want. Sometimes, a manifestation is not just going to fall right into our lap—this is especially true of ‘wants’ that are really big and important to us–we typically have a lot of resistance to work through. Just allowing it in, in its full form, immediately, usually can’t happen.

This type of thing happens because we showed up, desperate, and without clarity about what we really wanted. The same applies to manifesting your Soulmate.  You already know what you DON’T want.  So let’s put the main focus on putting together a list of what you DO WANT that is in alignment with your core values and expresses what you want to experience and share in your new relationship.

The major dilemma with the LOA is: did I attract this or did I feel it coming? In your story I only see intuition, no attraction: you were in an unsatisfying relationship and deep inside you were feeling it would end sooner or later. You met someone at the right time for both of you and you are both attracted to each other. To put this to the test, start imagining every evening that Gisele Bundchen will fall in love with you and you will see that you won’t attract her just because you are not meant to be together. Getting my point?

I like it!!! Law of Attraction Success Stories: The Law and The Promise by Neville Goddard is a collection of Neville's words and letters people wrote him of successes that they had. I like the simple format.Easy to understand if you are somewhat familiar with the work. The part of the book called 'The Promise' is more of his etheric and more spiritual personal experiences and views... not very traditional and profoundly 'out there!' for sure, but I do really appreciate this one.

This self-help book focuses on improving life in the areas of finances and health. The premise of the Law of Attraction is that what you get in life is a result of your habitual thinking and emotions; that the “vibe” that you put out determines what you will attract into your experience. Bettering your thoughts, emotions, and “vibe” will better your life experience, not only in what you experience internally, but also in what you receive from life.
Be sure to start this list by stating whether if your Soulmate is single, straight/gay (yes, you must be that specific) and available for a healthy, loving, committed, long-term relationship (or marriage if that is what you want.) Also, be sure to include that he or she lives close enough to you, and/or is willing to relocate if necessary for the two of you to be together. It is very important that you do not get too attached to this list, but rather release it by saying to yourself, “I welcome this, or something better!”
You are greater than what is going on around you. Your relationship with yourself is your most important relationship. What’s happened happened. It’s in the past and you can’t change it. It sucks, but it’s happened. You can still change what happens in the future. Focus on getting to a place where you feel better. The happier and more joyful you feel, the more positive results you will see.

I own this and Ask and It Is Given. I have to say these books have changed my life and am already rereading them. I like the kindle versions because I can add bookmarks, which are nearly every page. I always thought I had a good attitude in life but felt that I was not breaking past a certain point. These books helped me realize that I was not allowing the things I wanted to manifest. As soon as I changed this pattern of thought, it was like flipping the light switch on. This book is not only about money, I feel the title is a marketing ploy, the middle section is about health and the end is about career. I just got through cancer and was told by some friends that I had somehow brought it on myself. I've never felt good about believing that people can invite illness, tragedy, even death. After reading sections of this book, I can see the point of view, I'm not totally convinced but I'm more open to understanding. In general, these books do offer a perspective that is wise and grounded in common sense. That's why I like them. They're not asking you to believe or have faith in things that quite honestly don't make sense. All I know is I feel good and great things are happening in my life.

Thanks Mukul but you don’t get the full story here. I’m working on LOA for years and all I’m asking myself are basic questions after I found some flaws in it. I’m questioning certain principles because I managed to attract all the little things I wanted but not the big ones in which I strongly believed. As for the LA trip I used to be there for Christmas just because I could go and afford to pay for the trip. Once this possibility got reduced I can’t attract this anymore as no other possibility else than paying for my trip with my money shows up. There’s no LOA here just pure cause and effect: you want a holiday you pay for it, nobody offered me a trip, nobody invited me, I didn’t win any trip…No I have to pay for it, that’s mathematical.

For one of a million reasons, we feel like we can’t be ourselves. We long to be. We just want to move through the world as we truly are, without the masks. This is especially true when it comes to relationships. If you asked someone to make a list of what he wanted in a partner, I imagine ‘loving me for who I am’ would near the top of anyone’s list, or at least anyone who wants a real, authentic relationship.
I have been loving this girl, like crazy and madly since the past 18 months. However, she doesnt feel anything for me yet. I even expressed my feelings for her. She denied and asked to be friends. But since i was committed to her, i continued to behave the same. However, she took my commitment for desperation. Worst part is, i realised lately that she is seeing my best friend, who knew everything about my feelings for this girl. She doesnt even realise that this guy is playing around with her. Now, i feel betrayed and as though my friend has taken advantage of the situation. Now, she hardly talks to me. Things are getting worse day by day. And she is supposed to be leaving for some other country for higher education soon, after which i wont be able to meet her often. Please please please tell me how do i win her. She is the most beautiful soul i’ve ever met. 🙂

Step 1: Essentially, you need to make the decision that you really want to attract this life partner. Then, truly commit to the idea of spending the rest of your life with this person. Making this commitment may involve processing old wounds (e.g. via journaling or therapy). Hopefully, the past can be left behind and you can opt to embrace hope instead of fear.
