“I have been doing LOA exercises as a daily practice for a while now, I had dated from time to time but it was more by default as I hadn’t really done any specific focusing on tidying up my vibe. I am quite independent and I wasn’t searching for a love relationship as such but I was getting a bit fed up with the dating. So, I commenced as part of my daily practice a clearer focus on love in my life, appreciation for the love I had already, how would it feel if I had an ideal love relationship and I added it onto my universe list saying statements like ‘please being me my ideal love relationship’. It was really cute how it unfolded and it unfolded very organically and in no time at all. A friend of mine at work just started to look positively attractive to me, I had always thought he was good looking but I never saw ‘us’ as an option. It was like I had a blind spot about us. As the days and weeks past, he became more interesting, available, talented and gorgeous. It got to the point where I was actually wondering if he was the most gorgeous man alive. It was hilarious! We got together and we get on great. He is just such a great guy and so easy to love. When we got together I did ask him if when we were friends he ever thought we would suit being in an intimate relationship – he said he had always thought we would be great together and he had imagined that our relationship would be a very good union and now we are living just what he had visualized. I think that’s an incredible example of how if you’re not lined up you can’t ‘see’ what’s in front of you even if it’s ideal and that we do co-create with others. I still include positive LOA exercises into my daily practice because I want to enjoy this to the fullest.”

Think about what you want and why you don’t believe that you can have it. Then think about what the ideal world would look like to you, the world in which anything was possible, and pick one image or scene that represents it. It should be something where both this world (in which you don’t believe you can do it) and the ideal world overlap. For example, your ideal world could also have that peaceful corner of your favorite park, right?
That’s a great story. I would like to share with you how I manifested my dream job. I got a job I very much disliked at a biopharmaceutical company 8 months after getting my masters degree. But because it took me that long to get a job, it was somewhat precious to me. However, after one year, I was even more miserable and burnt out that I ever was and decided that enough is enough. I took the leap of faith and quit without any other job lined up. I took the time and freedom to explore what I really wanted to do and discovered my passion in the human resources field. However, the HR industry in my country is quite immature and I could not find any positions that fitted into my aspirations, goals, capacity and capabilities. I applied to many HR position half-heartedly. I have a long standing desire to move abroad but was unsure on how to make it happen. After 11 months of unsuccessful attempts, I intensely decided that I will be getting a job offer for a dream position from abroad NOW. I created a Manifestation Book and wrote down daily entries of getting a great job and an amazing location. A couple of days later I came across a job advertisement for a HR position in Germany. The position was all that I could ask for in a job. I applied to it. For the next 30+ days, I spent most of my waking hours believing that the job is mine. I did everything it took to train my mind that I am getting the job. Besides the daily journal entry, I sent job offer emails to myself and also recorded myself affirming about getting the job and listened to it before going to sleep. About 10 days after the closing date of the application, I received and email from the company inviting me to the Assessment Centre in Germany!! The interview and assessments went smoothly and a week later they offered me the job! The salary is great, the company is huge and famous and most importantly it is the job I had dreamed of and a dream location. I am starting on December 1st 2014 in Germany and very much looking forward to it. The Universe has given me what I wished for. If you really want something and believe with unshakable faith that you will have it, the whole Universe will conspire to make it happen!
Since the Law of Attraction teaches that like attracts like, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that attracting love requires you to be a loving person! And it’s not only the romantic sense of love that matters here. There are little things that you can do to spread love every single day—one of the best examples is simply being nicer to strangers.
You’re also competing with other people’s intentions – both good and bad. So, be aware that if your desire is in direct conflict with someone else’s stronger desire, the universe will respond accordingly. The Law of Attraction does not give you full and total control of your life, it simply states that like will attract like. You can use this to your advantage by being intentional with your desires, but this isn’t magic.
The Law of Attraction operates based on your unconscious mind. This means that whatever you’ve got going on inside will determine the things that are brought to you on the outside. The goal is to recognize recurring patterns as quickly as possible, so you can reconcile internal issues and get your ship sailing smoothly again. You see the signs and oftentimes you consciously choose to ignore them. The more you ignore the signs, the stronger they become, though. A big part of cleaning up what you’re attracting externally is to become aware of what you have going on internally.
So who is your Soulmate?  What does he or she look like? What are their qualities? What is it that makes them unique and attractive to you? For many of us, this journey towards our Soulmate begins by first experiencing what we do not want. Funny how life works, isn’t it? If you have been, or currently find yourself, in a relationship where you find that things are not flowing, it feels like it’s too much work, you argue and fight a lot, you don’t feel like you are compatible or complement each other, the passion is long gone, you constantly feel anxious about the relationship and you’re struggling to be happy, instead of feeling stronger, supported and inspired you feel weakened, or the person is in another relationship and not available to you, chances are that you’re not with your soulmate.
Listening to the law of attraction meditation in the past two weeks is the best thing I have done in years. The concept sits so tight in my head now that I don’t know why the rest of the world doesn’t live by it. Since I started listening to this mp3, wonderful things have happened. I got a Facebook message from a great guy I wasn’t expecting to; our mutual friend told him about me. We’re dating now and so far, so good. You can use a specific date if you want. I usually caution people not to use specific dates because it causes a problem for most people. They become fixated on the date and, as the date approaches, they begin to start blocking themselves from receiving what they want. They begin wondering if it’ll show up, wondering what it hasn’t shown up, etc. Their desire really could be on its way to manifesting by the date, but they don’t see it and end up creating a lot of fear and resistance that prevents the desire from manifesting.
At the end of the experiment, those who imagined they were physically younger showed signs of de-aging. Blood pressure was lowered, arthritis was diminished and even eyesight and hearing in this control group improved. By simply imagining themselves younger, some physical aging was actually reversed. Their thoughts and imagination made this happen.
That was about the time my girlfriend Charise walked in the door with her arms full of Costco boxes. Ultimately, you don’t need money to create certain types of feelings, and you can create them now. What can you do now that gives you a greater sense of freedom? Perhaps it is learning to say no more, being more selective with how you spend your time, or scaling back on commitments. What can you do to feel fulfilled now? Maybe it is doing some sort of volunteer work, or making time for a hobby.
I recently released some resistance about finding the right guy. And I had this weird experience yesterday. I felt like maybe I could meet somebody yesterday when I went out with my friend. And I actually forgot about the fact that I thought about it. And I ran into somebody at a book store and he actually told me something that I didn’t expect and I didn’t know what to say so I couldn’t respond properly. I actually was with my friend who had strong opinion against something and I was afraid if she might not like me acting certain way. Anyway, so I actually wanted to talk to the guy more but for some reason, I couldn’t. But I discovered some limiting beliefs. I realized that I need to be myself even though I worry what my friend thinks about me. And if she doesn’t support me, maybe she’s not good for me even though I really care about her as a friend. The reason that I couldn’t be myself yesterday was because I cared so much about what my friend would think about me.
I used to do a lot of work helping people to stop smoking. There are only 2 reasons people don’t stop smoking. One, because they don’t want to (often this is subconscious) Two, because they don’t believe it’s possible. Or they assume it will be incredibly difficult and painful, and they can’t do it without suffering forever. (Again, this is often subconscious and it is a flawed assumption).

“I was recently recalling being in France years ago when the friends I was staying with wanted to go to a casino. We picked up another friend-of-a-friend and I was told “He always wins”. Within 5 minutes of being in the Casino, the lights and the bells went off and the noise of an avalanche of coins- this guy had won the jackpot on the machine. He walked away and went on to win again on that visit… I was outside of a cafe in London and I suddenly said to my friend ‘I’m going in that Casino and I’m winning’. It was like the words came through me. I walked in, put my money in the slot and won £70. What was strange was the maximum jackpot win was £60 according to the machine! It’s funny, because I have ‘tried’ to do this since- especially when I went to Law Vegas- and I didn’t win. I now realise that it’s because the first time, like with the guy from France, I was in a vibration of calm knowing rather than a ‘trying to manifest’. I love sharing this because it is a feeling that reminds me when I am connected to source on all different kinds of subjects.”


If you’re practicing the technique on something bigger, this exercise may be tricky, but use your imagination. If you’re trying to lose weight, go out and buy an outfit that fits the size you’re aiming for. If you want a new car, go to a dealership and shop around. If you’re aiming for something as big as complete financial freedom, start planning what you’re going to do with all that free time and money.


Learning how to connect with yourself has a lot to do with tuning into your own need. Consequently, then meeting those needs. When you make a habit of this, you’re much more able to attract love with someone who will nurture you. One way to ensure you take better care of yourself while you’re looking for love is to set aside an hour a day where you commit to pursuing a hobby you love! This should be no matter what other, more “productive” things you could be doing.
