I currently graduated High School and things have started to collapse, I question everything and everyone. Sadness and disillusion have become a daily feeling. There’s so much things I’ve planed to do but for some strange reason I feel like I’ve sucked up my own energy, like I’ve killed my own vibe. Anxiety attacks have also manifested, lol I’m going crazy. This is the last thing there is to try, & with all my heart I hope it works.
Similarly, if you’re expecting to have more money arrive into your life, you have to plan for that occasion. Go tour open houses in your dream neighborhood. Go test drive your dream car. Start planning that dream vacation online that you’ve always been wanting to take. Plan it. When you plan it, it becomes more real and slowly manifests into your life.
Whenever you start feeling bad about your financial situation, see that as a form of feedback. Let it become an immediate trigger to refocus on your desires. Say to yourself, “Okay, obviously I don’t want this. So what do I want instead?” Then think about happier alternatives; allow your mind to go there, and let the resulting new vibe flow through you.
It’s important to understand that mindfulness isn’t about changing anything or trying to understand it. This is because the analytical and judgement aspects — our automatic reactions — are unhealthy and actually perpetuate the problem. It reinforces the connection in our brain between the action and the negative feeling. To release that connection, approach it without judgement. Let it be.
“As I began to ‘unstick’ myself from old, tired and frankly boring thoughts around ‘how I wouldn’t meet anyone’ or ‘how, I wasn’t attractive enough’ thanks to a new routine including meditation and taking action like going to several of your workshops, I began to notice several things. Firstly: I looked younger, something I was initially told by people and then I could see myself. And secondly, I have noticed more available, interested men around me. Hey Phil, my friend Claire sent this over after seeing me last night for the first time in months. I have been obsessively working on a project / startup to use rock climbing and adventure to help at-risk kids in the slums of Brazil. Check out our video if you are interested (www.indiegogo.com/adventureforgood) but that project is really not the focus. What I found is that although I love what I am doing and believe in it completely, I have been stressed out of my mind and without realizing it, I have been manifesting this stress into all aspects of my life and sometimes into the energy of my campaign. Reading your blog I was reminded of how important it is to manifest not only what you want but also how you want to feel. That energy is so important and certainly dictates how people feel around you. I have been bringing my computer to bed and stressing out over emails until I fall asleep… NOT healthy. This post really helped me reflect on practicing not only the law of attraction but the law of ‘feeling good’. Hope to bump into you around Boulder Phil.
Attracting a good relationship doesn't mean that the relationship is going to be perfect or even permanent. Remember that you will attract someone who matches who you are in a given moment. If you or your partner change, the relationship may no longer be compatible. Sometimes we're meant to learn something from a relationship, and then move on when we're done.
I really enjoy reading your posts and learning about opening up to deep and fulfilling love. After heart shattering loss over the course of the last two years I am now in the process of putting myself back together again. It’s still pretty messy but I really want to learn to love myself and be the best version of myself, for me and for my soulmate who I know is out there waiting for me to be ready for forever.
“I wanted to write in and thank you and share a testimonial about your work that may help others: I had tried it all- online dating, offline dating, blind dates- you name it. After doing your workshop about love a few years ago I realised that I was trying too hard to ‘make it happen’ out of fear that if I didn’t do anything, nothing would happen. But nothing was happening even with all my work- worse than nothing actually- a lot of pain and disappointment. The more I dated the more doubtful I became that I’d ever meet ‘the one’. But when he came back it felt totally new; we had both changed and could now recognise the other.
My life transformed in the space of a few months purely through visualising what I wanted and FEELING what it would be like to have it. I’m not saying I have it all, far from it and I still have days where I lose hope, but I would say the most important thing when you’re feeling down is to simply try and raise yourself to a slightly better feeling. Keep doing that, until you’re in a place to start imagining what you want… the rest is written in the stars! If you are struggling to find a happier place, a quick and effective way to do it is be grateful. Think of all you are grateful of and it will undoubtedly lift you up.
Your thoughts and actions create a result. Everything you think, say, and do will have an effect. Every action generates a force of energy that returns to it in kind and that energy continues to flow back and forth. If you don’t have a clear understanding that this is how things are, then the Law of Attraction makes your reality seem like the world is bleak because you don’t understand how you are attracting the very thing you wish to get away from. You just do your best to keep thinking happy thoughts in the hopes that something good will eventually occur.
