After watching the world’s greatest magician, David Copperfield, perform on television in Malaysia, Kabir found his calling to be a magician at 6 years old. Growing up, his passion grew and he could no longer keep it as a hobby. A copy of The Success Principles found its way to his hands and he was clear more than ever that he wanted to become the Malaysian David Copperfield.
Hi Angel – As I explained in my book, it’s all about you. Distance doesn’t matter with the Law of Attraction, even when using it for love and a specific person. You matter. Focus on creating the relationship you want and don’t worry about what you think are problems. Work on your thoughts, feelings, and vibration. Let go of how it’ll work. You have the ability to change your life and the Universe fully supports you.
There is no real risk to chasing your dreams. As far as I can tell, it’s a lot of fun and a thrilling journey. My experience with countless clients over many, many years, is that all the risk…all the frustration…and all the disappointment, is born from not chasing dreams. (But please remember, there is a way to chase dreams successfully which is like chasing butterflies. Put yourself in the right energy field, and become a magnet for those butterflies. The more direct method of butterfly catching is so much harder).
“I wasn’t able to get myself into a place to find love until I attended your workshop; and then I realised I had been trying too hard – but recently I met someone and although it’s new, it feels different to any relationship I’ve experienced before. I can totally put it down to the moment I stopped searching and needing someone; I started fully participating in my life instead of longing for it to be better. I had fun with the Focusing Process and I really ‘got’ Meditation and deep breathing, finally. It wasn’t instant – but trying out the different techniques and finding a way that worked for me was how it happened. I’ve known about the Law of Attraction for about two years and there were times when I wasn’t sure if it was working or if I was doing something wrong – but now I know that although it can take some time, it absolutely works. Thank you for the support when I needed it most.”
Math says that 1 + 2 = 2. If you talk with one person who loves math and another who hates math, they’ll each have a different perception of math. One person believes math is intriguing and fun, while the other may have a belief that math is terribly frustrating. So, how you perceive and interpret your reality will also have an effect on what you are attracting in your life.
It’s important to understand that mindfulness isn’t about changing anything or trying to understand it. This is because the analytical and judgement aspects — our automatic reactions — are unhealthy and actually perpetuate the problem. It reinforces the connection in our brain between the action and the negative feeling. To release that connection, approach it without judgement. Let it be.
I could never have any direct interaction with guys before when I had a lot of resistance about love but after I experienced some contrasts, I could manifest the guy that I could run into yesterday. But it didn’t go exactly as I anticipated. I was so surprised I couldn’t handle it properly I guess. And I kind of beat myself up over it yesterday and then I stumbled upon this posting today.
One place where Abe and I agree is that there is a dual nature to everything. Everything. Abraham says, "In everything there is that which is wanted and that which is unwanted." So when you manifest something that you want, it is necessarily going to bring with it something that you do not want. Think about that for a moment. Abraham calls this unwanted aspect "a whole new platform from which to desire." I call it inviting unknown conse ...more
Hi Elizabeth, I’ve read your book (loved it!) and the “rules” for those of us who want to manifest an ex, seem a little more demanding and complex… What if your ex wants nothing to do with you, or appears not to want to? What if they are telling everyone they are moving on and happier without you and are going toward greener pastures and they are open to meeting someone new? Secondly, how does one visualize happiness when still hurting, and how does one visualize good things and “let it go” when the memory of the breakup is still recent and fresh. Any tips on how to switch off emotional pain and memories, and just concentrate on the good? I just feel that manifesting an ex back is a great deal more challenging (and yes it is him I really want) because of the history there which simply can’t be erased or forgotten….
“I was looking for a way to forgive an ex-partner of mine, and had been trying for over a year. I heard your suggestion of just handing it all over to the Universe and to Life – and asking to see the situation from another perspective, but it seemed far too simplistic to work. However I was exhausted with the way I had been seeing it, as I felt like such a victim and had a lot of resentment. Slightly sceptical of exactly how I would see it from another perspective (I had read many self-help books and seen two counsellors previously and nothing was helping), I finally agreed to give it a go. I just busied myself with “my part”; as you said – which was to meditate and to appreciate my life.
Amazing, that’s what happen with me and my ex, we would break up and he would date other woman, and I would feel extremely insecure, jealous, crazy, and etc then he would put pics up of one chic and then cut me off. I was devastated, so now I got Elizabeth’s book and I am working on me, so that I can get the LOVE OF MY LIFE back and FOR GOOD this time, in my heart I truly, truly, truly believe we are SOULMATES, everyone tells me, that I should just move on, that I am a beautiful young lady and I will find someone else and that he’s not that into me, etc, but we where together for 4 years going on 5, and I had alot of negative doubts, and insecurities and we kept breaking up. But, I truly believe that he and I are meant to be, and I am so excited that I brought the book and am reading it, taking the steps, and working on me. Best of luck!!!!
Hi Phill, your article is a great inspiration, I came across this Law of attraction for the first time early last month in Oprah Winfre’s website, though I believe in the law but sometimes discouraged , your article is a great booster to me, your explanations are more detailed and I will pick up from there with perseverance , any further help will be appreciated .
But! Apart from being commercial stuff it’s underlying intention is to motivate people to do stuff. If you imagine real hard that you are getting a jet plane for your birthday, well it probably wont happen unless you are friends with Bill Gates. But if you really want to have 100 new RSS subscribers it’s not bad to really want it and to think about it because it will drive action. You might not be aware of it but action is what produced your results, thinking about them just pushed you to work harder.
I like it!!! Law of Attraction Success Stories: The Law and The Promise by Neville Goddard is a collection of Neville's words and letters people wrote him of successes that they had. I like the simple format.Easy to understand if you are somewhat familiar with the work. The part of the book called 'The Promise' is more of his etheric and more spiritual personal experiences and views... not very traditional and profoundly 'out there!' for sure, but I do really appreciate this one.
Above all, find ways to be happier now, no matter what is going on. Make your happiness and well-being a priority. The higher you are "vibing" the more things you will attract into your experience that mirror back all these great feelings. Be patient and compassionate with yourself. You can want the relationship, but release on the desperate sense of "need" around it.
As with all Law of Attraction work, trying to manifest love requires you look at the underlying assumption that holds you back. In this case, limiting beliefs that might block you from finding love. Try to write them down first. Then identify where they came from. Most importantly, write down a contradictory belief that you can then turn into a daily affirmation. Here is an article to get you started with three tips for creating powerful affirmations.
