By choosing to stay in an endless cycle of negativity and by dwelling on what isn’t, rather than what could be, how is the universe expected to be clear on what you are looking for? Focusing on the bad luck that you may have had in past relationships or dwelling on your inadequacies can only serve to further increase these misfortunes and hold you back from the love that you so truly deserve.
When you meditate, that is your time it just sit in a quiet space and allow yourself to just chill and just be. It is not a time to think or to focus on what you want, but is instead the time you want to quiet your mind. You want to take just 10–15 minutes to sit in a quiet space and to just focus on one specific thing, for as long as you can during that time. It could be a mantra you repeat in your head, or a sound, like a ticking clock, or the sound of a fan. Something that is constant and repetitive, and easy to focus on. Because, when you stop thought and just focus on the one thing a few things begin to happen.
You can try for Thanksgiving, but be careful with using specific dates. Many people get so focused on the date that they allow fears and doubt to creep up. As the date gets closer, they start wondering why it hasn’t happened yet and worry that it isn’t working. They end up not manifesting it not working when if they had stayed the course, they may have been someone the very next day.

According to neuroscientists, as you continue to meditate, your brain physically changes, even though you’re not aware of it reshaping itself. They’re also beginning to understand why meditation is effective for managing stress. Using brain imaging techniques, scientists have observed changes in the threat system of the brain. The response kicks-off in the amygdala, the part of the brain responsible for triggering fear. People who suffer from chronic anxiety have a more reactive amygdala, and this leaves them feeling threatened much of the time.
Whenever you start feeling bad about your financial situation, see that as a form of feedback. Let it become an immediate trigger to refocus on your desires. Say to yourself, “Okay, obviously I don’t want this. So what do I want instead?” Then think about happier alternatives; allow your mind to go there, and let the resulting new vibe flow through you.

You seem to already have that deeper knowing..now it is all about building that trust and working a bit with your mind to be more accepting of the beliefs and new reality you are looking to create. Realize you will likely have smaller manifestations first that show you are lining up more with what you want, like noticing more people you find attractive, when before, you saw no one, meeting people that have desirable qualities that you note as being important in a partner, or seeing more people "like you" in happy relationships, whether they are overweight, divorced or whatever personal characteristic that you think makes finding love harder.
As for losing faith in the Universe, that phrasing suggests you are applying ‘humanness’ to this force, and looking at it as something that makes decisions, rewards people,etc… It implies you are waiting for it to give you something. It is much more mechanical than that..it is neutral. It can only reflect back to us our predominant beliefs and feelings–it can’t deliver something because we are a good person, or are trying really hard,etc.. Think of it as a computer–input,output.
If you are an angry person, you will attract other angry people to sit around and talk about the messed-up world. You’ll attract scenarios that perpetuate your anger. If you’re a fearful person, you will likely attract other people who share your fears as well as situations that prove the world isn’t a safe place. If you have a belief that people cannot be trusted, you’ll attract events in your life that demonstrate all the myriad ways in which people are untrustworthy.
I’m glad my book on using the Law of Attraction for love of a specific person worked for you! You should follow the same steps you followed the first time. It’s okay if you think about him, but you should focus on making yourself happy. Instead of thinking of the feeling of “feeling in love”, think of the emotion of “feeling loved.” That’s what you’re ultimately looking for in your relationship.
Think about what you want and why you don’t believe that you can have it. Then think about what the ideal world would look like to you, the world in which anything was possible, and pick one image or scene that represents it. It should be something where both this world (in which you don’t believe you can do it) and the ideal world overlap. For example, your ideal world could also have that peaceful corner of your favorite park, right?

The awesome LOA blogger Melody Fletcher termed the manifestations that show up to indicate we are on the right path as ‘breadcrumbs.’ The thing is though, many of us misinterpret them as ‘bad’ things that show us we still don’t have what we want. Sometimes, a manifestation is not just going to fall right into our lap—this is especially true of ‘wants’ that are really big and important to us–we typically have a lot of resistance to work through. Just allowing it in, in its full form, immediately, usually can’t happen.

Sorry for the late reply and thank for your answer 🙂 Actually what I was mostly aiming at was of course manifesting signs of my loved one before Christmas but having the goal of spending the holidays with him. I haven’t seen him in so long, he is quite far away and I have no idea how that will manifest itself but I am leaving it up to the universe to make it happen because Christmas used to have a very special meaning to us. Also during our book club and going over your book “how to manifest a specific person” one of the readers wanted to know if it was alright for her to chant (she is an assiduous buddhist) her buddhist mantra while using LOA. She wanted to know if it was compatible eventhough it is the same philosophy, she was afraid that perhaps practising two different methods might delay her manifestations in any way…I do not know if this is something you can help her with! Loving our little book club which is growing too!!!!
As I mentioned earlier, our soulmates frequently come into our lives to help us heal our deepest emotional wounds, and we come into their lives to help them do the same.   For some people, this may at first look like some form of  ‘Crazy, Stupid Love’, or a relationship that appears to bring out the worst both in you and your partner.  These are the kind of relationships where people break up several times but over time have a tendency to find their balance as deep healing begins to take place and eventually grow into ‘Soulmate Love’.
“There was someone I liked for a long time and I just wasn’t sure if he liked me back. Well it wasn’t just liking- I was crazy about him… and it was becoming really tiring. But, with that being said, adopting these new beliefs when you have believing their super-crappy polar opposites for so long, will not happen at the snap of a finger. And, as I always say regarding this likely course of events, it’s okay. You want to start with where you are now, and work your way up. But, don’t be discouraged by this and think you can’t get anything good until you totally overcome your issues, and obtain some’ perfect’ vibration. I don’t think anyone has one. I imagine achieving that would result in not wanting anything at all.
I look at the picture of my desire and send him love and happiness, in addition I imagine a pink spiral all around him and me. I have done this for two days and I feel liberated I feel like everything I was worrying about has disappeared I feel a different person seriously. It is like I have let it go whilst still feeling the energy inyhands and feet. Am not sure if this is right or not if Elizabeth could clarify, but I feel great.

It is not uncommon for those who have been enlightened by the Law Of Attraction to have accumulated great sums of wealth unknowingly. Hi Onique – You need to look over your thoughts, beliefs, emotions from the past to see why you created it in the past. You need to look at your current thoughts, beliefs and emotions to see why you are creating it now. There’s probably at least one thought/belief that has been repeated for 10 years and is still there. Changing your thoughts/beliefs allows your life to change.
Most people’s biggest challenge is being very clear and specific about what they want in their life, so they are sending out a different message to the universe... The first step is to create some "peace of mind" become quiet and get very clear on what you want in your life. Once you are "present" and relaxed, you are ready to take the next step...

I remember reading this book when I was a teenager as it proclaimed I could quite literally create the life of my dreams. This concept was very sexy to me and profoundly shaped my ideas about what was possible as I was launched into adulthood.

i am madly in love with a guy…m crazy about him…it was a no strings attached kinda relationship…but i fell in love with him…he has all the good qualities that i would wanna see in my husband…but when i told him about my feelings for him, he told me that he likes me more than a like but less than love…i am hurt…i love him a lot…we are in touch…but he is’nt giving much time for me…how can i make him love me like how i love him by using law of attraction???…please help me.
